In a groundbreaking advancement for emergency medical care, Ukraine has achieved a historic milestone with its inaugural field blood transfusion. This feat marks a significant leap in providing critical aid to the frontlines, enhancing the survival prospects of wounded soldiers and civilians.

Utilizing cutting-edge tools like the Delta APRU and ICE cooler, the medical teams successfully transported whole blood to the heart of combat zones. The Delta APRU, renowned for its portability and rapid blood processing capabilities, played a pivotal role in ensuring the availability of safe blood for transfusions.

There are currently ten APRUs on the frontlines in Ukraine, with two ICE Smart Blood Coolers on their way to help as well. We’re incredibly proud to help in this small way to save lives in Ukraine.
