Recently, Hromadske published an article in which they discussed why transfusion at the point of injury, on the way to the hospital, and at the stabilization center is incredibly important. Waiting to give a blood transfusion once the patient has arrived at the hospital is proving to be detrimental in recent research, proving that carrying blood to the site of trauma is necessary.
Just a few minutes can prove to be life or death, under certain circumstances.
